It is said that if born at that time in 1492, it would not have been Christopher Columbus who sailed the ocean blue - it would have been Captain Dan Hicks. He possesses the spirit of adventure, the desire to seek the unknown and the fearless energy to make his dreams come true. This is repeated over and over by those who charter with him.

Capt. Dan is one of the funniest, free spirited, determined fishermen one could spend the day with. His passion alone could bait the hooks. He not only catches fish but makes the day a "catch of a life time".

Born and raised in the Great North West, Capt. Dan is an avid outdoorsman. Climbing the Rocky Mountains, to hunt for mule deer, mountain goats or sheep, the high lands for elk and moose or birds. He enjoys walleye pike fishing in the high lakes of Canada to fly fishing the mountain lakes and streams for rainbow cut throat trout.
